What ecosystem pulse measures

Momentum is first computed at repository level from stargazer timestamp data. Pulse aggregates those deltas by language and category to answer a different question: which technology areas are heating up right now?

  • Language and category totals summarize daily/weekly/monthly momentum across all repositories.
  • Trend rows compare weekly momentum share with the 30-day baseline.
  • Shift signals highlight where one cluster is outpacing the next competitor.
